I was able to order the set I wanted over the phone (I had been in the store a week or so ago) and it was delivered the same day. It looks very nice in our home, and is comfy. "Twas 2 days before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring....except for Lisa A. moving her aunt's desk down the hallway and ultimately pushing so hard that the leg got caught on the carpet and the thing crumbled into pieces.
After I was pulled from the rubble of what was only a 2 year old, Office Depot desk/hutch, we piled into the car and went searching for a new piece of furniture. We opted to go to El Dorado and were promptly greeted at the door by a lovely young lady. I wish I remembered her name, if I do, I'll update my review because she was so sweet! We had told her what happened and she whisked us through the store showing us every desk and answering all our questions. I was amazed by the layout of this HUGE store. It looked more like Disney World than El Dorado!
When there it was... the PERFECT desk! She walked us to the check out area and stayed by our side until the moment she escorted us out the door. She was such a sweetheart!
The delivery guys called to confirm the night before, came in the time window they said AND the store called the next day to follow up--wow!
Yes, the prices here are expensive. But these are high quality pieces of furniture, not just an awkward set or a cheap desk that comes in a box from other stores. I will definitely be back here when I am in the market for more furniture!!"
